My background is international, having lived and worked abroad, so I bring a cultural awareness and sensitivity into my clinical work. 

Experience

  • Private practice (including referrals by third-party service providers)
  • NHS primary and secondary services (e.g., IAPT, community health and adult psychology teams).
  • University student counselling services abroad and in the UK
  • Initiating and teaching personal and professional development programs
  • Remotely or in-person, providing individual and/or group supervision to therapists in several NHS Trusts, university services, and in independent practice. 
  • Supporting supervisees during the process of working towards and applying for accreditation with the EMDR Association UK, or the UKCP.
  • Facilitating for EMDR trainers at in-person and online EMDR basic training events.

Qualifications

  • A 4-year BA (Hons) majoring in psychology, and a Master of Science in Psychotherapy Research. 
  • Amongst others, I have completed training in:  Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, The Satir Model (for brief, systemic family therapy), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), a university foundation course in Nutrition and Mental Health etc.
  • Former career in corporate marketing management (UK and international)
  • Member of the UKCP and the EMDR Association UK
